Adhesion shows an already consolidated integrity program and reinforces the organization’s transparency
J&F has made official its adherence to the Brazil Pact for Business Integrity, an initiative of the Office of the Comptroller General of the Union (CGU). Membership gives visibility to an integrity program already consolidated in the organization, reaffirming its permanent commitment to ethics, transparency and integrity.
Created by the CGU, the Brazil Pact for Business Integrity is a voluntary initiative that encourages companies and private entities to strengthen their integrity practices. Adhesion involves signing a term, carrying out a self-assessment and monitoring guidelines related to risk management, corruption and fraud prevention, transparency, human rights, diversity, sustainability and governance.
“Joining the Brazil Compact reinforces a commitment that is already part of J&F’s culture. Ethics, transparency and compliance are present in the company’s daily life and guide our decisions, our relationships and the way we conduct business,” says Lucio Martins, Director of Governance, Risk and Global Integrity at J&F S.A..
